Grace House was founded in 1985, by a small group of volunteers in response to the lack of facilities for chemically dependent women. Grace House holds the belief that a gender-specific, 12-Step based, long-term residential program is the best treatment for chemically dependant women over the age of 18. The mission of Grace House is to assist chemically dependent women in leading sober and productive lives by providing long-term residential treatment, regardless of ability to pay

Recently having merged with Bridge House, Grace House remains the only treatment facility in New Orleans

exclusively for women.
